Minnesota Lemonade

3/4 cup granulated sugar | 3/4 cup water | 1 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice (approximately 6 lemons) | sprigs of fresh thyme of desired amount | 2 cups Minnesota 14 | 6 cups Ginger Ale | lemon slices | Ice

  1. In a saucepan, combine granulated sugar and water. Heat on medium heat until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool.

  2. Add lemon juice, thyme, and Minnesota 14. Stir until combined. 

  3. Pour mixture into a glass pitcher.  Add Ginger Ale and stir. Add desired amount of lemon slices and ice into the pitcher. 

  4. Serve over ice with a lemon slice and thyme sprig.
